PeopleFest! is a series of community events to celebrate the unique cultures represented in Eden Prairie. It is presented in collaboration by the City of Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Chinese Association, Eden Prairie Community Foundation, Eden Prairie Schools Community Education, Hennepin County Library, Interfaith Circle and others.
This is an opportunity for Eden Prairie residents to gather with neighbors and friends, get to know one another better, enjoy a few hot-off-the-grill favorites and build a sense of community. Neighborhoods can also choose to participate in a food drive contest for PROP, a local nonprofit that aims to provide food and comprehensive support to people in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen.
This summer, you don't have to go to Disney to give your children a magical experience. At the Minnesota Ballet School's Moana Ballet Art and Craft Camp, kids ages 5–8 will join forces with a mythical Polynesian demigod and Moana to explore magical lands and experience spectacular encounters with incredible creatures of the sea by creating dances and crafts.
This annual golf event is for those age 55 and older. You can sign up as a couple, foursome or a single. Signup is $38 for Dahlgreen members and $65 for non-members. The green fee and golf cart, plus a lunch with a hamburger or chicken sandwich, salad, chips, beverage and dessert, are included in the registration fee.
Come out to Crestwood Park to beat the summer heat and enjoy an afternoon mingling with Eden Prairie police and firefighters. Kids can stay cool by running through the spray of a fire hose and have fun with other activities.
Bring the whole family out to Staring Lake Park Amphitheatre to watch the Incredibles 2 under the stars. Pre-show entertainment from Kevin Hall, the Magic Maniac, will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will follow.
This class is great for mommies, daddies or whoever wants a little break from their tiny human. Simply drop off your kid(s) (must be between the ages of 3–9) with a nut-free snack and relax while they have a great time creating a state fair-themed piece of art! Registration is $33 for members or $37 for non-members.
