The Pied Piper of Hamelin Town

Eden Prairie Players is bringing The Pied Piper of Hamelin Town to stage for their children’s theater performance. “Who can save the children after the Pied Piper has led them away into a mountain? It’s three unlikely heroes to the rescue – Whiskers the Cat, Squeak the Rat, and Chirp the Bird. They come up with a plan, face their fears and show how their differences make them a winning team.” Performances of The Pied Piper of Hamelin Town will be performed at Riley-Jacques Barn on July 27th-28th at 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM, and July 29th at 2:30 PM. Tickets cost $5 for children ages 10 and older, $3 for children 4-9, and free for children under the age of 3.

Senior Center Summer BBQ

Enjoy a delicious picnic meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, watermelon, beverages, and desserts while listening to live music in the gardens. The Senior Center Summer BBQ will be held on July 25th from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the Senior Center. The cost of the event will be $11, registration deadline in on July 18th. 4th of July Hometown Celebration

Enjoy entertainment, food, activities and throughout the day at Round Lake Park on July 4th. Some events at the celebration include a pickleball tournament, Optimists 5K Run, canoeing, and paddleboarding, log rolling demonstrations, inflatable fun, street art by Shawn McCann, face painting and Henna artist, Bingo, BMX Demonstration, a karaoke contest and live music from Synergy. 4th of July fireworks start at 10 PM. Movies in the Park: Coco

Bring the whole family to see the free movie “Coco” under the summer stars! The pre-show entertainment will be by Mariachi Los Soles at 7:30 PM. The event will be on August 3rd from 7:30 to 10:30 PM at Staring Lake Park Amphitheatre. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and money for concessions.
