Mother-Son All-Star Evening

Put on your dancing shoes and favorite sports attire for the Mother-Son All-Star Evening! This “All-Star Evening” on May 5th includes dancing, listening to hit music, “Mom-versus-Son” sport team activities, and light refreshments. This event is for boys ages 3-9 with a mother or significant female adult accompaniment. Mother-Son All-Star Evening takes place at the Eden Prairie Community Center from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and costs $12. Athletic street shoes are preferred; no black-sole shoes. Remember to bring your camera, for the evening is sure to go down in your memory books!

Arts in the Park Art Fair

Shop for artwork of all types created by more than 35 artists and vendors while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Purgatory Creek Park. Arts in the Park Art Fair is on May 19th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visit local and regional vendors selling glass, jewelry, paintings, wood, photography, sculptures and more! Also enjoy live entertainment, face painting, kid activities, beer tasting and food trucks. Lions Tap will be sponsoring this year’s Art in the Park. Senior Resource Fair

Attend this year’s Senior Resource Fair to visit organizations and agencies that support our aging community. At 1:00 PM KMSP-Fox 9 Chief Meteorologist Ian Leonard will present how to “live life with passion and purpose through the storms” The Senior Resource Fair is on on May 17th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pax Christi Catholic Community. The Lorax

Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) together with The Old Globe (San Diego) in partnership with The Old Vic (London) Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax to Minneapolis. “With continued headlines focused on environmental concerns such as deforestation, pollution, and melting ice caps, The Lorax’s message is one that remains relevant and poignant almost 50 years after it was written,” Susan Brandt. The Minneapolis production is proudly sponsored by U.S. Bank, Land O’Lakes, Inc. and Piper Jaffray. Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax began April 15th and runs through June 10th on the UnitedHealth Group Stage and is recommended for all ages.
