Just Between Friends Eden Prairie Public Sale
Just Between Friends Eden Prairie invites you to experience children’s bargain shopping at it’s best. Just Between Friends is located at Champions Hall, 7000 Washington Ave. S. in Eden Prairie on Friday, April 28th 10:00 AM to Sunday, April 30th 7:00 PM. Participants will find tens of thousands of kids items at great retail savings. The event will feature children’s spring and summer clothing in sizes 0-14/16, shoes, maternity clothing, baby equipment like exersaucers, strollers, slings and snugglies, books, games, puzzles, sporting goods, electronics, room decor, toys and much more! Admission of $2 is charged at the door on opening day.
Park Clean-Up Day
Grab your work gloves, bring your trash bags and help keep Eden Prairie’s parks and trail systems clean. Park Clean-Up Day is on Saturday, April 15th from 8:30 to 11:00 AM. This event is a great opportunity for service organizations, youth organizations and neighborhood groups. Please call 952-949-8463 by Thursday, April 6th for park assignments. Don’t miss out on your chance in making Eden Prairie even more beautiful than it already is!
Floating Egg Hunt
What do you get when you mix fun in the water with Easter? A Floating Egg Hunt. Eden Prairie Community Center is opening up their pool for this holiday event. Have your kids, ages 10 and younger hunt for eggs in a swimming pool! Floating Egg Hunt is on Saturday, April 15th from 9:00 AM to noon. The event costs $5 for Community Center Members and $7 for Non-members. Family passes are available at the door for $20. Visit edenprairie.org/communitycenter for details and other upcoming events.
Step to It
Minnesota winters keep many inside while causing cabin fever. But spring is around the corner and it’s time to break free from winter and get active! Step to It is a fun, free, four-week challenge that encourages residents to be physically active and engage in friendly competition. Individual participants have a chance to win Minnesota Twins tickets and Step to It T-shirts. As a Step to It participant, you keep an ongoing total of steps you take during the challenge. Activities such as biking, skateboarding, Tai Chi or mowing the lawn also count towards your overall steps. Record your steps on the Step to It website to track your progress.
